Reality show celeb Kim Kardashian joins the lineup of buxom beauties to flaunt their sex appeal for a Carl’s Jr.  ad.

The chain confirmed Thursday that Kardashian will be featured in a seductive salad ad that will premiere next month on TV.

Yes, that’s right — Carl’s Jr. is trying to make salads sultry.

Once again, the Southern California-based burger chain is using Hollywood’s latest gossip girl to help lift sales.

In an exclusive interview with People magazine,  Kardashian said: “I’m always down for a burger, I love them and I eat them. But this is the first commercial they’ve ever done for anything but a burger. The salads are healthy, and it totally fits what I’m about right now.”

Kardashian and Carl’s Jr. did not reveal details of the new ad, which was filmed earlier this week in Los Angeles.  But clearly Kardashian feels the pressure to make her commercial just as sensuous as those done by her female rivals. (Think Paris Hilton’s sudsy Bentley commercial or Padma Lakshmi’s burger make-out session. )

” I just wanted to make mine as hot and sultry as all of theirs,” she told People.

Tell us: Do you think Kardashian can top Padma and Paris?

Why not have advertisements with women whose career is NOT based on not having any discernible talent? I know that was a bit confusing. What I mean is that Hilton and Kardashian are only known for their sex tapes (I know nothing about the other woman who is by far the hottest of the three). What message to young women do these ads give them? Make a sex tape and grow your career based on no talent? I read somewhere that Hilton made six million last year? I find it ridiculous that ANYONE would pay the tr@mp any amount of money.

    • ReactionOC says:

Who’s next-Octo-Mom? Jon and Kate with goo dripping down their faces? Bird-Brain “realty” show “Celebrities” selling anything has to go. Nice, flattering picture by the way. Looks like someone dumped food in her lap on her adult high chair. Chunky fug!

    • hooten says:

paris hilton makes money legitimately. she sells perfume and i think a clothing line. does it really matter that she made a sex tape? clearly she is not getting paid $6 million a year from one sex tape made years ago. she’s a legit business woman.

      • Valeria says:

Agreed! And so does Kim Kardashian, she has a perfume as well. Go Kim K! & all you jealous people stop hating. ;)

        • frombackeast says:

So you truly believe that they are the brains behind these off shoot businesses? Don’t you think that some marketing company actually came up with the idea and is the brains behind the venture? Yeah I can really see these two “dead from the neck up” individuals testing and marketing their own products.
I am not jealous at all. I just feel bad for all the young women who look up to these people as role models. The only talent they have was put on videotape.

  • bpsqwerty says:

lesson: if you want gobs of cellulite like Kim Kardashian, eat at Carl’s Jr.

  • Rob says:

Oh no…here we go with the comments! I have no comment…I’m going to enjoy the comments while I eat my “in your face all over the place” $6 burger……

  • mike says:

Yeah Carls!!!! Never buckle down. Keep em coming!!!

  • StephenR says:

WOW. Those are nice burgers…… :-)

  • Ted says:

    I love Kim Kardashian.

I don’t normally eat fast food, but I’ll make a couple of trips to Carl’s Jr. just to show my support.

  • Ed says:

Hey Carl’s, hire me as your marketing person. I’d have save you a TON of money compared to the ton you wanted on these pieces of work.

  • Ed says:

Oops I meant wasted not wanted.

  • singlespeeder says:

i love their ads whether you get a positive or negative reaction they have succeeded in gettingthe message across to you.

  • Mike Hunt says:

    Rob, you’re a seer.

I welcome more of these types of adverts. The puritans can go to In-and-Out and take solace in the secrets bible references.

Carls’ marketing approach will go down….in history for their innovation.

  • LGT says:

Great, here we go again with the prudes who dislike awesome advertising.

    • frombackeast says:

Nothing to do with being a prude. I enjoy a beautiful woman as much as the next guy. It’s THESE women I object to (not the Indian woman; she’s stunning in the advert). I simply object to Carls making THESE women out to be some sort of role model to young girls given the “road” they took to their fame. There must be prettier women out there who did NOT star in their own sex tape.

  • hooten says:

why the animosity toward the advertisements? the women are beautiful and nice to look at, so what’s up? i don’t get it.

  • Mike Hunt says:

Pray for me and my arteries!

  • Paris says:

She’s a great spokesperson for Carls. How do you think she keeps up that fat butt?

  • Caroline says:

Can’t wait to see the ad. I think Kim will do great! But she probably only has one or two bites and that’s it. She’s very watchful of what she eats. She’s really in good shape.

  • LIBERTYLAW says:

how dumb must you be to have these commercials affect your lunch choices.

  • LIBERTYLAW says:

    ??????????????

  • Chrystal Clay says:

Wow, I think using KK for a salad ad is great. She is well known and has recently lost a lot of weight, so the timing is really on point. Way to go again Carl’s Jr! And for those who don’t appreciate good advertising, simply turn the channel….It’s really that simple….

  • Kuromaku says:

Carl’s Jr has been putting up disappointing numbers for the last year. So they keep on doing the exact same thing, keep the same burger philosophy, run the same type of ads, and keep prices where they are. Either they know no other way, or somebody’s too cheap to hire a new marketing and PR firm.

    • bpsqwerty says:

the second one, though they did come up with a “new” $2.99 Six Dollar Burger. supposedly that’s their big way to reach out. a $6 Carl’s Jr. combo meal (shouldn’t that be the norm not the exception?). for some reason they charge $8 for a burger, small fries, and a drink.

  • Ross says:

My wife doesn’t care for the Carl’s ads, but will eat at Carls if she had to grab fast food. On the other hand, she likes the Jack in the Box commercials but wouldn’t eat there.

So maybe it’s all about the food.

  • CARMEN says:

KIM AND PARIS ARE BOTH SO FFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAKKKKKKKKKKEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cd8ted says:

I couldn’t care less about any of this foolishness.
But nobody is gonna tell me that Paris Hilton is “buxom”!

  • krissyhalo34 says:

here we go again with the carls jr. porn commercials!

  • Biggie says:

Yes. She will make me eat more burgers for sure! Good god she’s gorgeous.

  • homeatlast says:

Oh please…………like the other buxom ‘beauties’ added to Carl’s Jr’s bottom line?

  • Demitrius says:

Carl’s knows exactly who their market is; 18 to 25 year old males. Does anybody really have to spell it out? It amuses me how there is so much discussion about sex selling a product. Do you really have to be a young male to figure all this out? Sexy woman in TV ad = ad that sticks in your head. If you don’t approve of the ad, don’t watch it and don’t patronize Carl’s. If you do, then enjoy it.

For the record, I don’t appreciate John 3:16 on the bottom of my cup, but I still eat at In-n-Out sometimes anyway.

  • Rick says:

Her father was part of OJ Simpsons “Dream Team”, Tell her to go out and find a real job. I will never walk into another Carls Jr again.

  • hunterr83 says:

*yawn* One of my business partners has a saying,

“Lord, bring me more haters because the old ones are getting boring.”

  • mvmommy says:

I do not pick a place to eat, or not to eat, based on their advertisments. I eat at places that have food that I enjoy. And besides, I DVR just about everything I watch on TV so I rarely even see a commerical.
And I’m with hunterr83; these hamburger comments are getting really boring, and predictable.

  • Lucky Boy says:

Meat selling meat - I get the tie-in.

Rob Kardashian - the one fight ‘celebrity’ boxer who went down faster than a Kardashian sister at an NAACP convention, said some wag.

  • PilotX says:

Shouldn’t KK be advertising for a malt liquor brand like Colt 45?

  • Flipper says:

Carl’s should take a cue from In N Out and place an emphasis on making quality hamburgers instead of wasting money on advertising. Carl’s has a history of canceled advertising campaigns due to viewer complaints.

  • barbiemacs says:

Wow…and I used to eat at Carls Jr. She makes me wanna puke so I wont be eating there anymore. …her and her sisters blow and bonk anything with a Di*k…shame their mom is their pimp!! Carls, you just lost my biz…now I will puke when I think of your burgers or salads..
