Quiznos is firing a new bullet at Subway.
The $3 Toasty Bullet sub, introduced this week, is a smaller version of the chain’s new Torpedo sandwich. At “over half a foot,” the $3 sandwich is the latest addition to the chain’s Everyday Value Menu.
Served on 8-inch ciabatta bread, the new sub comes in the following flavors: Italian, Big Kahuna Tuna, Pesto Turkey, Turkey Club and Beef, Bacon & Cheddar.

Definitely something for subway to worry about, atleast in my opinion. Quiznos subs have always had a better taste to me, and they aren’t as soggy.

NO they have nothing to worry about. If people want subway bad enough they are going to be willing to pay the extra $2 to get what they want.
I’ll try it. I’ve always hated Subway. Hate their low-budget service and their terrible marketing. Quiznos was always too pricey, bu I’ll try this!
Will the Quizno’s franchisees cooperate? Or will I get the classic Quizno’s stink-eye when I only spend $3?

I prefer Subway to Quiznos. Quiznos insists on toasting their bread and for some reason the ingredients are greasier than Subway’s.
Considering my complete dislike for anything Subway this is great. I tried a Torpedo a couple weeks ago and was very impressed, this looks just as good.

I’m willing to give it a try. I’m kinda disappointed with Subway. After Subway started promoting their $5 footlongs, all of their sandwich prices went up. And last time at Subway, they put two slices of turkey in my 6″ sandwich….two slices, that’s it. Super lame.
Why would you buy a 8-inch Toasty sub for $3 when you can get a 13-inch Toasty Torpedoes sub for $4? I mean, for $1 more, you are getting an extra 5-inch. Someone, please explain. thx
Why don’t you cater to vegetarians?? We eat sandwiches also. When i enter a Quiznos and ask for a Veggie sandwich on a Torpedo roll, i am told “We can’t do that!” Is there a Quizno Law against it?? If you advertised a Vegetarian sandwich, it would attract other clients, who may not eat meat. Wow, good thinking.
