If you want REALLY old school JIB, ask them to hold the mustard and ketchup and substitute Secret Sauce instead. They don’t have it on the menu, but they keep it in little packages in the fridge. It totally changes the burger and takes me WAY back in time.
It’s a dollar menu stuff-so a save a buck. I subbed a chicken sandwich for the burger yesterday with no problem. M kids had the steak and egg burritos and they looked way better than my combo.
I went today not really meaning to get a Big Deal (which was actually introduced circa 1992). I wanted a little chicken sandwich and one taco. But then I saw the Big Deal would be cheaper so I got that and they asked if I wanted it with a chicken sandwich or a cheeseburger. Didn’t even know that was an option so I went for the chicken, so that was nice. I think they even asked if I wanted it with two tacos. I stuck with the one taco and asked for it w/ extra lettuce and they gave it to me with a couple piddly strands of lettuce that I don’t think would even count as the normal amount.

well, you really only save 50 cents because you only get one taco, and normally they are two for a buck.
If only it had 2 tacos instead of 1…
