Big Mac Snack Wrap gaining steam with McDonald’s fans

Updated 9/17: McDonald’s now calling Big Mac Snack Wrap — just Mac Snack Wrap. The snack also has its own website. Do you want this in O.C.?
McDonald’s is expanding its Big Mac Snack Wrap experiment to new regions, including Canada and Houston.
But will the new concoction — which wraps the innards of a Big Mac with a tortilla — ever make it to Southern California?
Not at this time, says McDonald’s spokeswoman Danya Proud. “This item is still in test. No final decisions have been made (about) adding additional restaurants to this test.”
Such a bummer, because it seems like the Snack Wrap is performing well in its test markets. It first appeared in the Midwest a few months ago, including Wisconsin. Here’s what a few Maven readers had to say about the new Snack Wrap:
“I Iive in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and they just started this about a week ago, it’s just like a big mac just no bun and wrapped up in a flour tortilla, it’s $1.49. I had 3 in the past week and they are damn good! new favorite from there.”
“I live in Wisconsin also and the Big Mac Wrap is AWESOME! It’s the perfect size to help you with that Big Mac craving—but not have to eat the entire huge Big Mac. Yum!”

hhmmm…i’m all for new products but why mess with the classic big mac? i’ll stick to the old original big mac when i need a little grease and fat if the wrap ever makes it out here.

Any news on how many calories these run?
On the Web I saw it was 325 calories but they do that with only two oz. meat. Get two and your looking at 650 calories. No wonder people in Wisconsin are so large if they are raving about this.
