“For exactly one hour on Sunday, Dec. 21, all Morton’s the Steakhouse locations will have free mini cheeseburgers in the bar,” reports EaterLA. Time: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Why the giveaway: At that specific date and time, Morton’s opened its first restaurant in Chicago 30 years ago.
Great idea, but slightly insane. Can you imagine the stampede?
Still, I might have to drag my father-in-law to the Morton’s in Anaheim. He arrives in town for the holidays this week and he’s a big steak eater, and loves freebies. Plus, these sirloin steak sliders are the bomb! (They come topped with lettuce,
tomato and purple onion.)
Morton’s has two locations in Orange County: Anaheim (near Disneyland) and Santa Ana (near South Coast Plaza.) Morton’s locations. (1641 W. Sunflower Ave in Santa Ana
and 1895 S. Harbor Blvd. Anaheim.

Of course the usual question comes to mind… Is Morton’s really celebrating a 30th birthday or is this a marketing campaign to try to drum up more business due to the sagging economy? Always the skeptic.
Oh no you didn’t just describe something as the bomb.
Morton’s, that’s the best you can do in this economy??!!!!!!!!!!
Ooh, those look good.
