KFC is hosting a holiday contest where the winner can get free chicken for a year, and $1,000.

To enter, all you need to do is submit a photo or video that shows off your family’s “Original Holiday Tradition.”  Examples include: show your family hanging homemade ornaments or decorating your yard for the season.  On Dec. 11,  KFC will pick 12 semi-finalists.

Then, starting Dec. 15, people can vote online for their favorite “family” tradition.  The grand prize winner will be named Dec. 22. The 11 finalists will receive KFC for a month.

My take: I personally don’t like online voting contests, but I thought I’d pass this one on because it seems like an easy one to enter. Good luck.
