If you follow the celebrity blogosphere, you’ve probably heard that Mary-Kate Olsen and her friend got into a fender-bender with an El Pollo Loco delivery car earlier this week.
The friends, swarmed by paparazzi along Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles, jumped into their car to escape after shopping. But Olsen’s friend, who was driving, accidentally backed into the car parked behind her. According to video captured of the Monday incident, the car had an El Pollo Loco delivery sign on top.

In watching the video, I felt bad for the unsuspecting El Pollo Loco employee. She looked befuddled as a cacophony of camera clicks surrounded her. Clearly she had no idea what the big fuss was about.
So, how is Costa Mesa-based El Pollo Loco handling the celebrity encounter?
Spokeswoman Julie Weeks said she can’t comment because the Orange County chain is still looking into the matter.
“It will take a while to investigate the details of the incident,” she said.
Wow. An investigation? I wonder what that means.
I say Mary-Kate should make up for the fender-bender by serving the chain’s marinated chicken at her next Hollywood bash. I’m sure EPL would love the endorsement.

I say the blame is with the swarm of papa-rotzie who was around the car, making it harder to navigate around them and traffic. They should have to pay for everything, their fault
First Ledy Di, then Mary-Kate.
Where will it all end?
How ironic, the world’s best known anorexic running into a chicken delivery truck. Eat something, girl. You need the protein to improve your eyesight.
An accident with an El Pollo Loco truck is the only way you’re going to get Mary-Kate and fast food in the same sentence.
