If you ever find yourself at LAX airport or visiting USC, I have some good news for you: Baja Fresh has opened express eateries at both locations.
The two Baja Fresh Express restaurants launched earlier this month. The fresh-Mex chain, owned by Anaheim investor David Kim, is experimenting with this limited-menu quick-serve concept. No other express eateries are planned to open anytime soon, the company said.
As airlines cut back on free meals, portable food options are becoming more important to travelers. I like the idea of hauling on a flight some tacos or a fresh-salad from a trusted brand like Baja Fresh.
In other Baja Fresh news, five Orange County eateries now offer online ordering.
The O.C. locations are in Brea, Irvine (3 locations) and Corona del Mar. For all eateries that take online orders, go to Baja Fresh online.
