Starbucks fires top leader, reinstates Schultz as CEO

It was a bad year for Starbucks.

And, when giants like this fall, someone must go down with them. On Monday, it was Chief executive Jim Donald.

Donald was fired and replaced by Starbucks founder and Board Chairman Howard Schultz. Schultz is considered the backbone of the company, having built the cafe chain as a “third place” where consumers can enjoy a latte. But, now Donald is out, having apparently been blamed for the company’s plummeting stock.

  • STARBUCKS NEEDS TO STOP BEING SOO GREEDY AND CHARGE APPROPRIATELY FOR THEIR COFFEE. THEY ARE WAY OVERPRICED NOW AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN THEREFORE I DONT BUY FROM STARBUCKS ANYMORE AND WILL NOT. MCDONALDS HERE I COME. STARBUCKS CAN SHOVE IT,
