Having spent 16 hours in labor once in my life, I always find it hard to believe stories of women who deliver and later say: “I had no idea I was pregnant.”

But, it was apparently true for one McDonald’s employee, who gave birth in the middle of her shift, according to news reports out of Vancouver, Washington. The female employee headed for the restroom after feeling stomach pain.

Once she realized she was in labor, a friend and a 911 dispatcher helped her through the bathroom birth.
