Wendy’s offering 100 million free downloads

With the purchase of a medium or large combo meal, Wendy’s International will giveaway a free song download on Rhapsody.

The chain expects to give out 100 million free songs during the promotion, which started this week and continues through December.

Once you buy a meal, the restaurant provides diners an “access or cup” code to enter on its website for the free Rhapsody download.

So, that’s the main “pitch” Wendy’s announced in its press release. However, if you read the game rules in the fine print on the chain’s Website, it claims that you can receive a free download by buying a “medium or large a la carte” drink, as well.
